Uniform manufacturers and retailers are expressing disappointment over a drastic decline in product sales.
This, after schools have officially re-opened minus the face-to-face classes component of the government’s phased approach.
One retailer and Director of Ammar’s, Michael Ammar, notes that the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic continues to have a negative impact on sales.
Mr. Ammar says he accepts that there will not be the usual back to school sales for retailers this year.

Meanwhile, Manger of uniform manufacturer, Laura Lou, Yvonne Moore, says there is a fifty per cent cut in product sales this year.
However, she indicates that other income streams have been keeping the company afloat.
