National Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang says the government is moving to put in place a new protocol to ensure members of the police force hospitalised on the job are given priority treatment.
Dr. Chang lamented the plight of an officer who was severely injured in the line of duty but was unable to afford treatment.
This is being done under the new welfare department of the JCF.
