That’s the observation of General Manager of the Caribbean Country Department at the Inter-American Development Bank, IDB, Therese Turner-Jones.
However, Mrs. Turner-Jones says it’s not all bad news.
Therese Turner-Jones speaking today at a National Road Safety Council of Jamaica, NRSC, regional webinar.
Vice-Chairman of the NRSC, Dr. Lucien Jones, called attention to the fact that it’s people in low-income countries who are mainly dying in road accidents.
Dr. Jones urged influencers to pressure the government to act to save lives on the roads.
