The Ministry of Labour and Social Security says a record number of students are now enrolled as beneficiaries under the Programme of Advancement through Health and Education, PATH.
Speaking with Nationwide News on Wednesday, portfolio minister, Pearnel Charles Jr., says over 140,000 students are now signed up.
Families needing PATH assistance are encouraged to visit the ministry’s parish office.
Minister Charles says the record PATH enrolment means more Jamaican children from poor backgrounds can access formal schooling.
