Opposition Senator K-D Knight says Senators should be allowed to express views independent of the party they represent.
Last year Senator Knight’s opposition colleague, Senator Andre Haughton, said a 2-percentage point reduction in GCT is not feasible.
His view contradicted that of the Opposition Leader, Dr. Peter Phillips, who called for such a reduction.
Senator Knight says other views must be allowed to contend.
Meanwhile, Government Senator Robert Morgan says those who have caused the shutdown of business cannot tell the government about running an economy.
