Reigning 100 metre World Champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce clocked a time of 22.41s to win the women’s 200 metre at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon moments ago.

American Brittany Brown finished in second place in a time of 22.74 second and Bahamian Antonique Strachan finished third in a time of 22.76 seconds.

American Jenna Prandini finished fourth in 22.77 seconds followed by Tamara Clarke, who finished in an identical time.

American Cambrea Sturgis clocked 22.85 seconds to claim sixth and Switzerlands’ Mujinga Kambundji, after recovering from the 100 metre, clocked 22.88 seconds in the 200m.

Americans Dezerea Bryant and Shawnti Jackson rounded out the field in times of 22.91 seconds and 23.28 seconds respectively.

Meanwhile, Danielle Williams finished fifth in the women’s 100 metre hurdles in 12.71 seconds.

Natoya Goule was fourth in the women’s 800-metre in 1:59.39. The event was won by Keely Hodgkinson of Great Britain in a world leading 1:57.72.
