The St Elizabeth Police say they’re ramping up efforts to combat a spate of armed robberies plaguing the parish’s town centers in recent times.

New Divisional Commander for the St Elizabeth Police, Superintendent Samuel Morgan, says his team will also engage more with residents and members of the business community.

He says while there’s no gang violence in St. Elizabeth, there are break ins and domestic violence.

Superintendent Morgan says the Police will also focus their efforts on dispute resolution initiatives.
