Two Men Arrested in Security Force Operation in Negril

Two men were arrested during a joint police/military operation in Negril, Westmoreland on Thursday.

The men were taken into custody in connection with several criminal offences ranging from shootings to lottery scam.

Seven mobile phones, laptops and lottery scamming paraphernalia were reportedly seized during the operation in Love Lane on Negril’s West End.

The police say a motorcycle was also seized.

Zone Four Commander of the Westmoreland Police Division, Deputy Superintendent, Shaunjaye Mitchell, says his team are placing a premium on safety for residents and visitors to Negril alike.
