Controversial South West St. Catherine Member of Parliament, Everald Warmington, was today sworn in as a State Minister.

Information Minister, Senator Ruel Reid, confirmed the development at the Post Cabinet media briefing this morning.

Minister Reid says Mr. Warmington has been appointed as State Minister without portfolio in the Office of the Prime Minister.

The Information Minister made the disclosure while responding to questions from Nationwide’s Abka Fitz-Henley today, approximately an hour after Mr. Warmington was sworn-in by Governor General Sir Patrick Allen.
