Captain of the West Indies, Kieron Pollard, says the Caribbean batters need to come up with a better plan to nullify Australia’s pace bowler Mitchell Starc during the power play in the second One Day International.

The second match is set for the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Thursday.

Starc finished with 5-for-48 off 8-overs in the Aussies 133 runs win over the Windies in game one on Tuesday.

Pollard says it’s important that the openers see off the lead bowlers.
