An alleged gangster based in Clarendon has been charged with murder and illegal possession of firearm.

He’s 24-year-old Shevaugh Hall otherwise called “Munga (not the dancehall artiste)”

Hall was one of the country’s most wanted men.

He lives in a community called Farm in an area of Clarendon known as Effortville.

He’s accused of leading a gang which has carried out a series of murders and armed robberies in Clarendon, St Elizabeth, and Manchester.

Hall was taken into custody on Sunday and charged Wednesday evening.

The murder charges are in connection with the killing of two men in February last year.

The two men, Shavour Henry, and Najare Ferguson were shot and killed by gunmen in Farm.

Both men were 18-years-old.

The Police believe Hall was part of a daring robbery a few weeks ago of a business place where several people were held, hostage.

That robbery took place in the Guinep Tree area of Clarendon.

Hall is also being investigated in connection with the robbery of 3-million dollars from a supermarket in Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth last weekend.
