Approximately 50- alleged members of the feared Spanish Town-based, Klansman gang, are to go on trial soon.

They are accused of breaching the country’s anti-gang law.

It’s expected to be the trial with most defendants in Jamaica’s history.

Minister without portfolio in the National Security Ministry, Senator Matthew Samuda, made the disclosure in Senate today.

Minister Samuda was responding to criticism from Opposition Senators of the rate at which criminals are being pursued in Jamaica.
